![]() On one hand I really want to have a minimum of 12 players, an apothecary and 2+ rerolls but this limits the number of non-linemen I can field. I did paint the full 16 figures on the team, even though I haven't yet finished deciding on the starter roster. I think I prefer this to putting numbers on the players. I'm also going to pick up a white pen to write the names on the bases. I have a few items still to do with them, I want to add a couple of white lines onto some of the bases to simulate the chalk lines of the pitch (something I saw on a google image but looked pretty good). It is looking more than likely I will use this team in the competition. I finished off repainting my old Norse team and the new additions to the team (in the form of 2 Ulfwerners, a snow troll, linemen purchased from various sources and an Empire Great Cannon crewman I dug out of my random miniatures drawer, to use as the coach (to allow me to argue the call!). Humans and WE I had discounted early on, as the humans are too similar to Norse and I didn’t fancy using the Elves). I now had 4 teams I was potentially going to use! (Dwarf/Undead/Norse or Orcs. I has also picked up the Goblin booster pack to flesh out my Orc team. My wife then threw a spanner in the works by buying me the new Blood Bowl game + the Dwarf Giants and their pitch for xmas. Annoyingly I couldn't find my old metal 2nd ed. It also has a selection of 2nd edition human/Chaos Dwarf and Ogre miniatures. So this shot is on the 3rd edition board and has the starting Orc and Human plastics, Metal: Norse, 'Shambling' (original) Undead and Wood Elf teams (the wood elves were re-primed for a new paint job). I excluded my 2nd edition Human/Orc teams as I frankly don't like the basic plastics and although I like the 'astrogranite' pitch, it is not as wide as later versions so you can't really use it to game on. My first set was a group shot of the existing teams. This thread will therefore chart my various blood bowl related hobbying. With the first Blood Bowl league in a number of years, due to start late Jan at the club, I decided to take stock of my various teams in order to work out what I wanted to use.
